Overview

In order to conduct business with our customers and provide the best products and services possible, we (Intepro, LLC) must collect and use information about our customers. Our philosophy on collecting and using this information can be summarized as follows:

  • Require collection of only the information that we need
  • Allow our customers to decide what optional information to give and how they would like it used (including sharing this information with third-parties)
  • Keep all of our customer information secure

This privacy policy describes how we achieve these objectives.

Information Collected

To provide our products and services, we require some customer information. This includes basic name and address data, including first name, last name, mailing address and email address. We also require our users to create their own passwords which are stored encrypted using one-way hash algorithms. This means we do not know our customers' passwords and cannot retrieve them. In the event that a customer needs to retrieve a password we are limited to resetting the password to a new value which the customer can then change.

To better serve our customers we also provide them the option of storing some information, including credit cards. We take several steps to ensure the security of this information. Please see the Information Security section for more details. While conducting business online with Intepro, LLC it should ALWAYS be clear to our customers what information is required and what information is optional. If you are unsure or unable to differentiate between required and optional information, please contact us using the Contact Us form.

Information Security

Intepro, LLC takes information security very seriously. Whenever we collect personal information, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt the transmission of this information to our servers. Additionally, any finanical information our customers provide (such as credit cards) is stored in encrypted form with our private key. This key is rotated on a weekly basis to keep this encrypted information secure. Lastly, we do not require this information to be stored in our database. Any financial information provided to process online transactions may be provided to us on a one-time basis for that transaction only.

Usage of Your Personal Information

Your information is used primarily to conduct online business and provide better service to you. Any additional usage of that information will be at your discretion. This is accomplished by always allowing our customers to "opt-in" and "opt-out" of using this information. We will NEVER share your information with a third-party unless you specifically instruct or allow us to do so.

How to Access and Change Your Information

You may access and change the information you have provided to us at any time by logging in to our website and using the My Account page.
